We require a Lactation suite/pod to support nursing mothers at the Eielson AFB passenger terminal. This suite should meet or exceed the size requirements of approximately 26 Sq ft (87W x 43D x 87H) The unit must have the ability to run power to it using a standard 120V electrical outlet, with a 10ft power cord. The unit must be able to supply power to the persons using it, using a standard dual receptacle hospital-grade outlet. The unit must have at least one bench for seating and one table/shelf (preferable fold down). The unit must have adequate ventilation using 1-2 fans that must provide white noise as well of air exchange. This unit must be able to lock from within and identify on the exterior that it is “occupied”. This unit must be ADA compatible according to IAW 2010 ADA standards, the door threshold must meet 404.2.5 and the door hardware must meet 404.2.7. This unit must be sanitary and easy to clean. This unit must be moveable, ie: on caster wheels for easy relocation. We would prefer a prefabricated unit that would not require additional resources for install.
