Description

SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – JBE088, JOINT INTEGRATED TEST AND TRAINING CENTER (JITTC), JBER, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.



The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on JBER, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items

listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.”



Items:



1. Kaba X-10 high-security combination lock (https://www.kabamas.com/x-10-high-security-lock/). The use of Kaba X-10 combination lock is essential for the sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) to receive its accreditation.



2. Lockmasters, Inc. “Door-in-a-Box" (https://www.lockmasters.com/stc-door-in-a-box) including associated Lockmasters, Inc. Door-in-a-Box is essential for the sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) to receive its accreditation.



3. Best Interchangeable Core-Cormax, 7-pin, Standard Keyway, X-series keys. Best electronic card access systems and the Best lock cores are compatible with JBER, Elmendorf’s existing master keying system.



4. Best B.A.S.I.S. (G) Electronic Card Access System. Best electronic card access systems and the Best lock cores are compatible with JBER, Elmendorf’s existing master keying system.



THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of a FY25 solicitation for a new Military Construction (MILCON) project on JBER, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of teh above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:



1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture.

2. Fully detailed specification sheets.

3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
