10 May 2023 - The 673rd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, single source service contract to Equipto for services necessary to provide all management, personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform 962 AMU Mobile Shelving Move as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The Contractor shall accomplish dismantling, palletizing, leveling, and rebuilding of mobile shelving unit. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 484210. The manufacturer was able to confirm the ability to provide the items of the requirement.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(i). The anticipated award date is 26 May 2023. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. Sole source awarding has been determined to be in the best interest of the government to maintain the lifetime warranty on the equipment by certified installers of the vendor. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed and maintain warranty on the equipment. Deadline date for the submittal is Monday, 22 May 2023 at 2:00 pm Alaska Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
