The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to award a firm-fixed price, non-personal service contract for Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services for Government owned CEPHEID GeneXpert System at Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Wainwright, Alaska to include all labor, parts, material and travel, to repair and /or maintain the Government owned equipment, in a fully functional condition in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications. The anticipated period of performance is from 01 February 2023 through 31 January 2024 (Base Period), with four (4) one-year option periods, and includes FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.

The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to CEPHEID, as Cepheid is currently the only authorized provider of service for GeneXpert systems to customers within the United States. The maintenance and repair service from the OEM is proprietary and is not available through an independent service organization. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offerors; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
