The University of Alaska Anchorage, hereinafter called “Owner”, is requesting proposals from
consulting firms for professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the following Project:

UAA Health Workforce Expansion & Diversity

RFP No. FPC-23-06

Basis of Award: Proposals will be evaluated by a Selection Committee using the criteria outlined in
Section C of the RFP. Pending the availability of funding, an Agreement will be awarded to the
highest ranked, responsive, responsible Offeror whose Proposal conforms in all essential aspects to
the solicitation requirements. The ranking will be based on the combined score of initial
evaluation, interview rating and past performance surveys.

RFP Availability: Request for Proposal documents for this project are available for viewing and
downloading from the AEPlans website at https://www.aeplans.com. RFP documents may also be viewed by appointment only at the office of Facilities Planning & Construction, University of Alaska
Anchorage, Gordon Hartlieb Hall Suite 106, 3211 Providence Drive, Anchorage, Alaska.

Offerors must register through the website to be notified of addenda. The Offeror is responsible
for periodically checking the site for addenda or additional information for the project.

RFP Inquiries: Inquiries and questions relating to this RFP shall be submitted via email to
uaa_fpc.alaska.edu, no later than ten (10) days prior to the deadline for Proposal submission.

Pre-Proposal Conference: A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at Facilities Planning &
Construction, University of Alaska Anchorage, Gordon Hartlieb Hall (GHH) Conference Room 104, 3211
Providence Drive, Anchorage, Alaska at 2:00 PM on January 17, 2023.

Deadline for Submission of Proposals: The University must receive Proposals no later than 2:00
p.m., February 2, 2023 to be considered.

Submission of Proposals: Proposals must be submitted electronically to uaa_fpc.alaska.edu as
specified in the Instructions to Offerors. Proposals will only be accepted up to the deadline for
submission of Proposals.

Project Background:  The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Health Workforce Expansion and
Diversity project proposes to renovate the Sally Monserud Hall (SMH) to expand UAA’s College of
Health (CoH) health workforce clinical training facilities.
