NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

FFY 20 Various Non-Primary Visual Aid Replacement- Design Services

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to solicit professional engineering services for the design and support group services required for the FFY 20 Various Non-Primary Visual Aid Replacement project. The project scope includes removing and replacing the existing airport beacon tower with a tip down pole and beacon at the Iliamna Airport. The tip down beacon may be a sponsor furnished material

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from July 01, 2023to December 31, 2024. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of Less than $200,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available May 22, 2023 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK  99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4420. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than June 12, 2023, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau.  Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages. If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda.    Every effort will be made by the Department to ensure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued.  Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website.  It is the Offeror’s responsibility to ensure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP.  No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
