INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Chignik Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) Rehabilitation, Project Number AIP 3-0-2-0330-002-2023 / SFAPT00368, will be received before 2:00 p.m., April 14, 2023 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project rehabilitates the existing Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) at the airport in Chignik, AK.  Work includes replacement of the wall and roof panels, replacement of doors, and envelope improvements as needed.  There is also one (1) Additive Alternate that includes electrical upgrades.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Project completion date will be December 31, 2023.

A virtual, non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2023 from 1:00-2:00pm.  Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting as it will feature a presentation on complying with the FAA Buy American provisions of this contract and will provide an opportunity for asking questions.
