Amendment #5

The purpose of this Amendment #5 is to:

• Modify ITB Section 1.06 to allow for electronic bid submission

If submitting bids electronically, failure to submit a bid guarantee in the proper form and amount, by the time set for opening of bids, will cause the State to determine the bid non-responsive and reject the bid.

For Bid Guarantee requirements, reference ITB Section 2.24 Bid Guarantee.

An offeror’s failure to submit its bid and bid guarantee prior to the deadline will cause the bid to be disqualified. Late bids or amendments will not be opened or accepted for evaluation.

Amendment #5 is not a mandatory return amendment.

• Extend the Opening Date and Time to March 3, 2023, at 2:00 PM. (Alaska Time)
• Provide Answers to questions received.
• Provide a Modified ITB Attachment #1 Bid Schedule

The purpose of this Amendment #1 is to:

Amendment #1 is a mandatory return amendment.

The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Statewide Contracting & Procurement, is soliciting bids for the highway and runway de-icing chemicals; sodium chloride, calcium chloride and urea for delivery to various locations within Alaska. This solicitation will result in a one-year contract providing both an annual firm quantity purchase with possible as-needed deliveries throughout the winter season.

The Bid Opening is scheduled for 2:00 PM (Alaska Time) February 27, 2023 at DOT/PF Headquarters, 3132 Channel Drive, Room 350 in Juneau, Alaska 99801.

Copies of bid documents may be downloaded (Adobe Acrobat format) from this Online Public Notice website. If you download the solicitation, you must register with the Procurement Officer listed below to receive subsequent amendments. Failure to contact the Procurement Officer may result in the rejection of your offer.
