RFI: Statewide Alternative Teacher Preparation Program Development

The Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) is seeking a vendor to assist the department in the development of a statewide alternative teacher preparation program that would meet the requirements of a registered apprenticeship program. This project will take several months to provide adequate time for participation from all stakeholders that include universities, multiple education organizations, school districts, other state government agencies, Alaska Native Tribal groups, and other potential participants. The desired outcome is a written comprehensive framework and implementation plan outlining the roles and responsibilities of the department, participating districts, educator preparation providers, other stakeholders, and the program participants.
