INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Kwethluk Airport Rehabilitation, Project Number AIP 3-02-0435-002-2023 / CFAPT00682, will be received before 2:00 p.m., May 31, 2023 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will rehabilitate the existing runway, taxiway, apron, and access road at the Kwethluk Airport.  Work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, embankment, grading, drainage improvements, signs, lighting, aircraft tie-downs, dust palliative, navigational aids, contaminated soil remediation, and utility work.  Work also includes construction of two Snow Removal Equipment Buildings (SREB) and associated work indicated under Project No. CFAPT00801.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000. The Project completion date will be October 31, 2024.

From the DOT&PF website: http://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-bids.cfm?rc=CR your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room, or your bid may not be accepted.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
