The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (Department), Division of Preconstruction Services, Design Section, is seeking professional engineering services to provide a contaminated soil management plan for Old Steese Highway Shoulder Widening project.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately NOVEMBER 2022 through December 2024. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of less than $50,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available NOVEMBER 6, 2022 , and may be downloaded from our web site at: http://www.dot.state.ak.us/procurement/prosvcs/index.shtml ; Under Request for Proposals heading, click on “Request for Proposals less than or equal to $200,000” OR https://dot.alaska.gov/rfpmgr/sm.cfm Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than NOVEMBER 10, 2022 , 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.

The proposals may be dropped off at our office. A locked Drop Box is located at the outside entry of the Tech Services Building #3 (Contracts Building Main Parking Lot West Side Entrance).
