CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)

Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. Z680910000/0902042; KTN Tongass Ave Improvement, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time November 02, 2023, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.

This Federally funded project will consist of Refurbishing Tongass Avenue, from MP 0.2000 to 1.2798 including rehabilitation of asphalt and concert pavement surfaces, curb and

gutter, sidewalk, and correct ADA deficiencies, making improvements to the lane configurations and to the pedestrian and bike facilities to improve safety and

level of service..

The Engineer's Estimate is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. All work shall be completed by October 31, 2025. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.

Hard copies of these documents are still available in hard copy for a non-refundable fee of $100/set from the Southeast Regional Contracts, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska, 99801-7999. Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
