The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking proposals from qualified training providers to deliver Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) training to DOT&PF, Maintenance and Operations (M&O) personnel in Alaska. The purpose of this is to identify a vendor that can deliver comprehensive, and FAA Certified ARFF training to enhance the capabilities and preparedness of DOT&PF M&O personnel in responding to aircraft-related emergencies. The selected vendor shall provide the following services:
a. Develop ARFF training curriculum that includes Advanced (40 hours) Basic (40 Hours) Hot Drills (10 hours) and the specific needs of DOT&PF, M&O personnel.
b. Deliver classroom-based instruction covering topics such as aircraft familiarization, fire behavior, firefighting tactics, rescue techniques, hazard mitigation, and emergency response procedures.
c. Conduct practical, hands-on training sessions to reinforce theoretical knowledge, including live-fire training exercises utilizing appropriate safety protocols.
d. Train personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of ARFF equipment, including fire suppression systems, extinguishers, hoses, and vehicles.
e. Provide comprehensive training materials, including manuals, reference guides, and classroom facility capable of live fire training.
f. Evaluate and assess the training effectiveness through practical assessments and knowledge-based tests.
This solicitation will result in the issuance of one (1) contract for the needed services.
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM prevailing Alaska Time, on August 10, 2023. Emailed, faxed or oral proposals will not be accepted.

Failure to contact the Procurement Officer may result in the rejection of your offer.
