INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Mekoryuk Airport Rehabilitation, Project Number AIP 3-02-0178-003-2023 / CFAPT00288, will be received before 2:00 p.m., August 23, 2023 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will rehabilitate the existing runway, taxiway, safety areas, apron, and airport access road at the Mekoryuk Airport.  Work includes excavation, embankment, grading, drainage improvements, dust palliative, lighting, aircraft tie-downs, rotating beacon, segmented circle, wind cone, and PAPI system construction.  Work also includes construction of a heated two-bay Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) and associated work indicated under Project Number CFAPT00269.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $20,000,000 and $30,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 15, 2025.
