626015 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS North Slope Borough Department of CIPM Attn: Sophia Amling, Contract Administrator CIPM Office Location: Downstairs in the Public Works Building (Physical Address) 1689 Okpik Street Utqia!vik, AK 99723 907-852-0489 Ext. 6205 The North Slope Borough is seeking sealed bids for construction services for the Shop 2 Facility in Utqiagvik, Alaska. The work includes upgrades and expansion of the existing toilet facilities and adjacent spaces. The project is known as Shop 2 Renovation, CIP 68109 / ID12561 Deadline for bid submittal is on or before April 20, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 4:00 p.m. at the upstairs CIPM conference room at 1689 Okpik Street, Utqia!vik, AK. The project title/CIP number, your vendor/firm’s name, the words “Bid Enclosed”, bid date and name of Project Administrator must appear on the outside envelope of all bids. Bidders are responsible for the timely delivery of bids to Sophia Amling, Contract Administrator at the address listed above. Early submittals are encouraged. Bidders are responsible for advising their courier companies of the instruction above to avoid misplacement of their bid submission. Delays due to weather, airline schedules or other unknown variables will not be considered an exception to the deadline requirements. Bids are received when date stamped and time marked on your submission by the Contract Administrator or designee. Please be advised that the United States Post Office does not make deliveries to physical addresses. If using USPS, items may be sent to our mailing address: PO Box 1050, Utqia!vik, Alaska 99723, addressed to the North Slope Borough Dept. of CIPM attention to the Contract Administrator, with the sealed bid envelope inside of the mailing envelope. However, you are still responsible for ensuring your bid is timely received at the physical address. Bids received after the time announced for the bid closing, unless otherwise specified, will not be considered. Interested parties can view and download Bid Documents for this project at no cost from the North Slope Procurement Website at http://www.north-slope-procurement.com . A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted via teleconference on March 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Questions are to be emailed to the CIP Project Administrator at Myron.McCumber@north-slope.org . All potential bidders are urged to attend this pre-bid conference. Teleconference call-in information will be provided in the Pre-Bid Conference Agenda. The agenda will be made available to all registered planholders for this project on the North Slope Procurement Website prior to the Pre-Bid Conference. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities or informalities in any of the proposals. Bids may be awarded in accordance with the Borough’s preference policy, a copy of which is available upon request.
