SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION The U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order to HANSON MARINE under the authority preserived in FAR 13/106-1 (b)(1). Only one source reasonably available that will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for emergency dive and salvage services USCG D17 Prevention. The approximate estimate of this action is less then $7,500.00.

The proposed procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301-1 Only 1 source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.

The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responsding to this notice.
