Amendment 1: This amendment is to add the Question and Answer document to this solicitation.



One (1) Desktop Explosive/Narcotic Detection Workstation, With five (5) Year On-Site Extended Warranty & Operator Training that meets the following specifications:




  • Be one of the following products IAW Mandatory Use Policy

    • Rapiscan Systems - Itemiser 5X

    • Bruker - DE-tector Flex

    • L3's QS-B220

    • Smiths' Ionscan 600



  • Offer a 5-Year onsite maintenance and repair warranty with on-site maintenance capabilities available for Alaska

  • Operate on 110V AC Power

  • Possess the capability to operate without AC Power for a minimum of 1 hour on internal or external battery supply

  • Possess the capability of detecting trace amounts of explosive and narcotic compounds to include fentanyl

  • Function on with components without radiological properties

  • Provide the user with a notification detailing the type of compound detected by the detection unit
