USDA-NRCS Alaska office needs multiple video success stories that can be used as outreach materials to potential program participants to demonstrate the benefits of voluntary conservation programs and recruit future applicants.
Videos will be posted to the NRCS Alaska YouTube channel. NRCS Alaska will disseminate the YouTube video links using a variety of email marketing, website/digital and social media strategies to target audiences. Video topics will be diverse and represent a variety of NRCS programs, conservation practices, land uses, and agricultural production. Video locations will include various geographic regions in Alaska where NRCS has helped landowners implement projects including projects on and off the road system. Projects off the road system will require travel by plane and/or boat. People interviewed will be diverse and include various cultures and communities in Alaska including rural Alaska. NRCS Alaska also needs videos produced to provide training or demonstrate a “how-to” process for field data collection such as how to collect snow survey samples, or how to perform an in-field soil health assessment, for example.
