This is a pre-solicitation notice only for 2023-2025 Dillingham Harbor Maintenance Dredging. Offer or bids will not be accepted for this notice.
This solicitation will be a Total Small Buisness Set-Aside Procurement. Any resulting contract will be firm fixed price and the anticipated download availability date for this solicitation will be on or after 6 December 2022.
Access to the documents will be through a link on the SAM.gov website: http://www.SAM.gov/. Use the Search function and use this solicitation number to Search by Solicitation/Award Number. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from the link on SAM.gov website.
The contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws regulations and procedures. The Construction Wage Rates (formerly Davis-Bacon Act) will apply.
All offerors are advised that they must be registered in SAM.gov in order to receive an award. Join ventures must also be registered in SAM.gov as a joint venture. Offerors are advised to begin this process when they prepare their bids in order to ensure registration is in place should they be selected for award. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code will be 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a size standard of $32.5 Million.
The estimated award date for this contract is February 2023.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Perform maintenance dredging, placement of dredged materials using the designated open-water placement site, and pre- and post-dredge surveys at Dillingham Harbor in Dillingham, Alaska for the base and options (if awarded). The Contractor is to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to accomplish the work. The Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. A fuel price adjustment provision for the dredging plant is included as Time and Material CLINs. The type of contract shall be firm-fixed price. Construction wage rates (formerly Davis-Bacon Act wage rates) shall apply.
