This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Instructions to offerors, evaluation criteria, and all applicable FAR Provisions and Clauses are attached.

The solicitation number is 20280PR230000015 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and Construction clauses are those in effect through FAC# 2022-08 Effective Date 10/28/22

USCG Air Station Sitka, located in Sitka, Alaska, have a requirement for training vessel support services.The Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, fuel, and equipment necessary for the vessel(s) to support helicopter hoisting and aircraft crew rescue support for Air Station Sitka.

Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes, but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. Where the word "offer/offeror" or a derivative of that word appears, it is changed to "quote/quoter" or a derivative of that word.

Anticipated NAICS Code/Size Standard: The applicable NAICS Code is 488390, for Other Support Activities for Water Transportation with a size standard is $41.5 million.

All quotes are due at USCG Base Kodiak, AK by 4pm (AST), 01 March 2023.
