PURPOSE OF THE RFP:
The Department of Natural Resources, Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office (TLO), is soliciting proposals for as needed geological and reconnaissance sampling, and analytical services. The TLO is seeking the services of an experienced mineral exploration consultant and contractor that can provide geological mapping, first-phase mineral exploration (reconnaissance), and analytical services. The Contractor must provide the entire suite of project logistics, geological consulting, field support, field sample collection, field sample preparation, and handle analytical services for collected samples. All work needs to be done according to NI43-101 guidelines. The Contractor must design, staff, conduct, and execute field projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:

• A minimum of five years professional experience in research, mineral exploration, geological and structural geological mapping of hard rock gold and base metal deposits in Alaska for main principal consultants;
• Contractor and or team leaders on the project must have a minimum of five years professional experience in applied exploration geophysics and applied exploration geochemistry;
• The Contractor and or team leaders on the project must be certified professional geologists and must be recognized as Qualified Persons (QP) defined by NI43-101.

Offerors must detail in their proposal how them meet the minimum prior experience requirements above. Offerors that fail to identify in their proposals how they meet the prior experience requirements will be deemed non-responsive.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSAL:
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on September 19, 2023 , as indicated by postmark or email timestamp and late proposals will not be considered.
