NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25232040 – HSIP: Anchorage Flashing Yellow Arrow & Signal Head Display
Improvements Design & Surveying Services

The Contractor shall provide professional services for a bid-ready set of Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E) to mitigate left-turning angle crashes by upgrading existing protected-permissive signalized intersections in Anchorage from a 5-section doghouse to Flashing Yellow Arrow (FYA) heads for existing protected-permissive and permissive left turning movements.  Activities include Surveying and Mapping; Traffic and Safety Analysis; Utility Conflict Analysis; Assistance During Bidding, and Design Closeout Documentation.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2023 to December 2026.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be over $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available November 21, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than December 14, 2022, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
