INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Sitka Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building Rehabilitation, Project Number AIP3-02-0268-031-2022 /SFAPT00363, will be received before 2:00 p.m., November 18, 2022 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project consists of rehabilitating the existing Snow Removal Equipment Storage Building (SREB) at the Sitka Airport. Work includes siding replacement, heating system upgrades, replacement of doors, and other building envelope improvements.  This work also includes four (4) Additive Alternates.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. The Project completion date will be February 28, 2024.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled on November 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Those interested need to submit their names to Alyson Wardell at Alyson.wardell@alaska.gov a minimum of 24 hours prior to the meeting. Meet in the facility parking lot to wait for a member of the maintenance crew to escort through the facility.
