INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Seward Meridian Parkway Road Improvements, Phase II: Palmer-Wasilla Hwy to Seldon Rd, Project Number 0001(417) / Z512210000, will be received before 2:00 p.m., March 20, 2024 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will upgrade Seward Meridian Parkway to four-lanes and extend the roadway to Seldon Road. Project work includes five new traffic signals and intersection improvements, a bridge over Cottonwood Creek, separated pathway, and illumination.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $40,000,000 and $50,000,000. The Project completion date will be August 31, 2026.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings . Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
