NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SGY Klondike Hwy Rehab: SGY River Bridge to Canadian Border
RFP Number 25233017
The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to seek design services for the completion of the Skagway Klondike Highway Rehabilitation project. The contractor will provide Design services including road design, modifications to the horizontal and vertical alignments, Analysis and design of traffic control measures, design of erosion and sediment control measures and narrative, utilities, and geotechnical. Assistance will be provided for the completion of the environmental document, and the public involvement process.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from February 01, 2023to December 31, 2025. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000,000 or greater.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available December 08, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4420. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than January 03, 2023, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages. Proposals may be submitted by email to: srdotpfcontracts@alaska.gov

If you download a Request for Proposal (over $100,000) from this page, you must register with the respective regional plans room to be placed on the planholders list for that project and to receive subsequent addenda. Every effort will be made by the Department to ensure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. Addenda may be issued by any reasonable method such as mail, telefacsimile, express delivery service, and electronic posting to this website. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to ensure that he has received all addenda affecting the RFP. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
