Buoy Tags

The Department of Fish and Game, Division of Commercial Fisheries, is soliciting bids for a contractor(s) to provide buoy tags. This ITB may result in two (2) contracts.

Prior Experience:

In order for a bid to be considered responsive the bidder must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:

• Contractor is required to have three (3) years of experience in the past seven (7) years providing industrial tags for fisheries, mining, or other equivalent fields.

Sample Submission Requirement:

• Contractor is required to provide a sample of proposed tag. Tag does not require outlined printing per Sec. 2.10 and must be received by the address outlined on the Bid Schedule no later than January 17th, 2023 to be considered a responsive bidder. (Delayed submission date for tag samples provided to accommodate current shipping issues seen for the State of Alaska.) Submissions is required to verify quality of proposed base tag.

A bidder's failure to meet these minimum prior experience requirements will cause their bid to be considered non-responsive and rejected.

Deadline for receipt of bid:

Bids must be received no later than 2pm, Alaska Time on January 10, 2023, at which time they will be publicly opened. Late bids or amendments will be disqualified and not opened or accepted for evaluation.
