NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25232052 – Kenai Spur Highway MP 29-38 Pavement Preservation Design Services – PLUS

The Contractor shall provide professional services to develop and advertise the above-named project, which are anticipated to include the following: Surveying and ROW Mapping; Design Study Report; Hydrology and Hydraulic Design; Plans, Specifications, and Estimate; Erosion and Sediment Control Plan; and Assistance during Bidding, Project Closeout, and Construction. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to add up to two (2) additional pavement preservation projects during the initial period of performance.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately April 2023 to December 2025. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $1,000,000 or greater.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 19, 2023, and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than February 9, 2023, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
