PURPOSE:
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys, is soliciting proposals for qualified contractor to assist with As Needed Surficial Geologic Mapping Investigations in Alaska with the initial representative project to be in the north central Tyonek Quadrangle as part of its upcoming STATEMAP project.

MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:

• The Offeror must have at least three years of experience using ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro for geologic mapping.

• The Offeror must have geology field experience on at least five surficial geology mapping projects covering an area of at least 30 square miles.
• The Offeror must have at least three years of experience mapping surficial deposits in Alaska using remote sensing imagery such as Lidar, aerial photography, satellite imagery or similar.

• The Offeror must have published at least five surficial geology maps at a scale of 1:50.000 or greater that include glacial deposits.

An offeror's failure to meet these minimum prior experience requirements will cause their proposal to be considered non-responsive and rejected.
