Purpose: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF) is soliciting competitive bids for qualified contractors to provide as-needed fixed wing and helicopter services for use in emergency wildland firefighting for the Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF). DOF intends to award multiple contracts for multiple years. Aircraft provided under a contract resulting from this ITB or future Open Enrollments will only be used to support firefighting efforts for active fires being managed or supported by the Division of Forestry & Fire Protection. DOF is establishing a provision within this ITB that will allow DNR to issue periodic Open Enrollment periods during the contract term.
