RFP #25-23-1-040, Alaska Highway Fast Track Bridges CMGC
The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (Department), Division of Preconstruction Services is seeking a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) to assist the Department during design development and ultimately construct the Alaska Highway Johnson River Bridge #518 Replacement and Alaska Highway Gerstle River Bridge #520 Replacement projects (Project).
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately April 2023 through December2026 (Preconstruction Services), TBD through December 2028 (Construction Services). Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $200,000 and $250,000 for Preconstruction Services and between $95M and $110M for Construction Services.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available MARCH 7, 2023 , and may be downloaded from our web site at: https://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/ ; then click on “Current Bid Calendar” under the Construction Bidding heading. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska. Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD number 711 or 1-800-770-8973. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is no charge for the RFP package.
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than APRIL 5, 2023 , 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTY number 711 or 1-800-770-8973, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
