CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)

Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. 0003261/SFHWY00307; JNU Egan Yandukin Intersection Improvements HSIP, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time February 16, 2023, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.

This Federal funded project will consist of Set seasonal speed limit reduction on Egan in the vicinity of the Egan Yandukin intersection. Improve delineation for both left turns on Egan to improve line of sight and reduce travel distance to clear opposing traffic. Improve delineation for the northbound right turn movement from Egan to make it easier for southbound left turn drivers to determine if opposing traffic is executing the right turn or continuing through the intersection..

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All work shall be completed by October 31, 2023. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.

Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
