Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Matanuska Electric Association

PROJECT NAME: ADL 233977

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Big Lake, AK

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 17, Township 17 North, Range 3 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Matanuska Electric Association (MEA) is requesting an easement for the purpose of installing overhead primary electric utility lines to service residential customers. The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.

REQUESTED TERM: Unspecified

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: November 21, 2022

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7 th Avenue, Suite 900C, Anchorage, Alaska 99501 on or before the date noted above.
