INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Mt. Edgecumbe H.S. Building 1330 Girl’s Restroom Renovation, Project Number 25RC053605, will be received before 2:00 p.m., November 18, 2022 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project includes demolition and replacement of the existing girl’s restroom in Building 1330 at the Mount Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, AK.  Work includes renovated flooring, under and above floor plumbing and plumbing fixtures, restroom partitions and accessories, exhaust fan replacement, electric heating, lighting replacements, and wall repairs.

The Engineer's Estimate is less than $200,000. The Project substantial completion date will be August 4, 2023.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Monday, November 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Those interested need to contact Christopher Hodgin at Christopher.hodgin@alaska.gov or 907-269-7484 a minimum of 48 hours prior the meeting to register for the site visit.  Meet at the front entrance of the Mt. Edgecumbe H.S. Building 1330 (Academic Building) on Seward Avenue in Sitka, AK to be escorted through the work areas.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings . Bidding documents may also be purchased for $50.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
