Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project Nos. TA19(001)/NFHWY00445, NRMBS00785 & NRMBS00786, Fairbanks 5 th Avenue Reconstruction, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, April 4, 2023, in the Office of the Contracts Engineer, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.
The project consists of reconstructing 5 th Avenue between Barnette Street and Noble Street including ADA Improvements, intersection improvements, drainage improvements, roadside hardware, and utilities.
Engineer's Estimate is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000.
The project completion date is October 31, 2023.
Plans, specs, bid documents, reports, addenda and other bidder information are posted online, available for downloading free of charge at: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings .
Hard copies of plans & specifications are still available from the Contracts Section, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska 99709, telephone number: 907-451-2247; TDD: 711 or 1-800-770-8973 (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment). There is a non-refundable charge of $100, per set. Check or money order must be made payable to: State of Alaska.
