PURPOSE:
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys, is soliciting proposals for qualified contractor to provide As-Needed services that support field data collection including the assessment of North Slope terrain unit mapping and services that support the development of material resource maps derived from terrain unit maps, field data assessments and other supporting data.

MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these minimum prior experience requirements:

• The Offeror must have completed terrain unit mapping covering at least five 1:63,360-scale quadrangles on continuous permafrost terrain at mapping scale of 1:40,000 or greater detail.

• The Offeror must have at least two weeks of field experience evaluating the quality and accuracy of terrain unit mapping within continuous permafrost regions.

• The Offeror must have evaluated terrain mapping units for their construction material resource potential.

• The Offeror must have at experience with North Slope field logistics preparation for at least two field projects.

An offeror's failure to meet these minimum prior experience requirements will cause their proposal to be considered non-responsive and rejected.
