INVITATION TO BID NO. ITB-23-16

Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all work necessary for the CHILD CARE RENOVATIONS AT CITY HALL PROJECT will be received by the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 800 Cushman Street, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701, until and including 3:00 P.M. local time, August 1, 2023, and will immediately thereafter be publicly opened and read aloud in the Engineering Conference Room at the same address.

The project will consist of renovating the first floor of the northwest wing of City Hall to be used as a licensed childcare facility. Work includes but is not limited to: remodeling two restrooms, three classrooms, classroom closet, custodial closet, steam radiators, general electrical work, and installation of an ADA-compliant ramp as described in the specifications and shown on the plans for the CHILD CARE RENOVATION AT CITY HALL PROJECT online (link below).

A mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM July 20, 2023, at City Hall 800 Cushman Street, Fairbanks, AK 99701 for all prospective bidders. Contact John O’Brien at jobrien@fairbanks.us to confirm attendance. Bids will not be accepted for Bidders not in attendance.

Office in City Hall, 800 Cushman Street.

The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with the law and to reject any or all bids.
