NOTICE OF PROPOSED VACATION (DISPOSAL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) proposes to vacate Lots 1, 2, & 3 of Tract ā€œCā€ in USS 4489 to the City of Pilot Station. This is the site for the old Pilot Station airport.

The tracts to be vacated are located on the northwest bank of the lower Yukon River in the City of Pilot Station. The tracts total approxi-

mately 108 acres in size. DOT&PF has no future plans to use the old airport lands.

This disposal of ROW by DOT&PF is authorized by AS 02.15.070.

The physical file of the proposal is available for public inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the DOT&PF, Right of Way Section, 2720 Picket Place (west side of Peger Rd.), Fairbanks, Alaska. DOT&PF will accept and review public comments regarding the proposed vacation (CQD #24-02-003). Comments must be made in writing and must be received no later than 4:30 PM Monday, April 22, 2024. Comments may be hand-delivered to the above address, e-mailed to laura.back@
