625724 STATE OF ALASKA Department of Transportation and Public Facilities PEARL CREEK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS & PLUG-INS Project Number NFHWY00712 The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is proposing to make parking lot and access improvements at Pearl Creek Elementary School in Fairbanks. DOT&PF plans to reconfigure the existing parking lot and access roads at the school in order to improve vehicle circulation and reduce vehicle idling. Parking lot work includes installation of new vehicle electrical plug-ins, ADA improvements, drainage improvements, paving, and sign installations. Construction is currently planned for summer 2024. We are currently working on conceptual designs, engineering, and environmental studies and would appreciate your comments. All public comments received will be recorded, transcribed, become a part of the public record, and may be subject to Freedom of Information Act requests.
