The purpose of this document is to solicit proposals for the removal and lawful disposal of a minimum of 30 vehicles abandoned on City of Valdez Property or private property. If on Public Property the vehicles will be staged by the city adjacent to maintained roadways for removal. All vehicles must be safely and lawfully removed and disposed of outside of the city’s jurisdiction. The Contractor must provide a salvage ticket or other proof of lawful disposal of vehicles removed from city property.

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes.
The City of Valdez encourages disadvantaged, minority and women-owned firms to respond and is available to assist said firms in learning how to do business with the City.
Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.
Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.
